15th Annual Fishers of Men West Coast Invitational

Posted by admin on July 29, 2021

The Van Wormer Resorts have been icons of the East Cape for more than fifty years.  This week on Angler Chronicles, Hotel Playa Del Sol is the resort of choice as Sergio and crew cover the Fifteenth Annual Fishers of Men (West Coast) Tournament.  This is very much a fun tournament and also raises  needed funds for other charitable events sponsored by Fishers of Men (West Coast) including the huge shoe giveaway every October.

Sergio along with Ron Hobbs and Jack McCulloch (Fishers of Men, West Coast) all take an active part in this very worthy event.  And the fishing is terrific as always in the Sea of Cortez as the Angler Chronicles crew catches a host of game fish including quality Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo and Dorado.  Lots of bent rod action in this week’s episode.

Legends of the FREELANCE

Posted by admin on July 21, 2021

Celebrating thirty five years as one of the premiere ¾ day operations on the west coast, the “One and Only” FREELANCE is host to Angler Chronicles this week.  Sergio and Captain Don Brockman have combined to put together the ultimate reunion of great fishermen who have all received their start aboard the FREELANCE.  Vintage footage from the 2015 El Niño year.

It’s a rare day when this many close friends have the opportunity to go fishing together.  And the fishing completely pegs the needle.  Wide open fishing for Yellowfin Tuna, Dorado and huge Yellowtail make this episode of Angler Chronicles a Must See.

Don’t miss this fantastic episode.  Great family entertainment.
